Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has told police and security officials to remove an elderly man who expressed dissatisfaction with politics from his election rally in the city of Spitak. The May 19 rally was broadcast on a YouTube channel NEWS.am .

The pensioner blamed the prime minister and his entourage for the death of his grandson, a serviceman.

"I call on the police: take out all those who came to interfere, let them go about their business," the Prime Minister replied.

An elderly man was led out of the crowd. Later, the pensioner told reporters that he was the grandfather of a military man who died in 2023 due to a fire in a barracks in the village of Azat.

On May 18, during a campaign rally, Pashinyan shouted at a Karabakh Armenian woman who had entered into a dispute with him, promising to "bend and destroy" his political opponents.
