Nutritionist Victoria Kostrova told how much okroshka you can eat without harm to your health. In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, May 19, the specialist noted that the classic okroshka with boiled sausage and sweet dark kvass is quite a serious test for the digestive tract.

It contains a lot of fats, salt and additives, which can cause fermentation. At the same time, the dish can be made healthier if you replace the sausage with boiled meat, add more greens, and cool the potatoes in advance — this will form a useful resistant starch. The expert also recommended using fermented milk drinks as a base, and if possible, homemade or natural kvass without sugar and additives.

According to her, okroshka is not suitable for everyone: it is contraindicated for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, for diabetes it is worth limiting potatoes, and for kidney problems, be careful with greens and radishes.

The nutritionist added that it is optimal to eat okroshka for lunch — one or two servings, and for dinner it is better to avoid it, as a cold dish slows down digestion and can cause swelling. If you choose the classic version, you should leave it as a rare pleasure — no more than once or twice a month.

Earlier on May 19, nutritionist Nuria Dianova told 360.ru that it is recommended to eat no more than 200-400 grams of okroshka without bread or other drinks. She also advised replacing sausage with lean meat, as well as choosing the right kvass: you need to look for sour, because it quenches thirst better.

On the eve of May 18, Ekaterina Smirnova, a home nutrition specialist, told Pravda.Ru that okroshka provides the body with critically important substances. This is the optimal lunch: high nutrient density with low energy value

In August, Natalya Nikitina, a general practitioner, stated that okroshka on kefir is the most useful option from the point of view of nutrition. Kefir contains beneficial bacteria that help to normalize the digestive tract, says RIAMO.

Before that, nutritionist-endocrinologist Anton Polyakov said that it is difficult to find a balanced alternative to kvass and kefir, which will be without sugar and milk and will preserve the taste of traditional okroshka. However, you can use homemade kvass, in which, unlike store-bought, "sugar is not implied," writes NSN.

In June last year, nutritionist and nutritionist Tatiana Sinko spoke about the unexpected benefits of okroshka. The specialist noted that this is a nutritious dish rich in proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals.

At the same time, nutritionist Elena Solomatina told about the contraindications to the use of okroshka. In particular, according to her, the dish contains a large amount of herbs and vegetables that damage the mucous membrane with ulcers or gastritis, RT notes.

Roskachestvo noted that it is dangerous to store okroshka for more than 24 hours. According to experts, the ingredients should be mixed immediately before eating, and kvass or water should be added right before serving. kp.ru .

Earlier, residents of the capital chose the most delicious gas station for okroshka on the "Active Citizen". It turned out to be kvass. 57% of the survey participants liked this option. Kefir was preferred by 16% of "active citizens", ayran – by 4%. 14% of users admitted that they do not eat okroshka, the Moscow city news agency reports.
