Authorities in eight regions of the Republic of Latvia have issued an air alert following an incident involving an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) shot down in Estonia. This was announced on May 19 by the Delfi network of Baltic online news outlets.
"The potential threat was announced shortly before 12:00 (coincides with Moscow time. — Ed.) in the counties of Kraslav, Ludzu, as well as in Rezkne and Preily. Later, the threat was also announced in Madonsky, Cesissky, Gulbensky and Smiltensky counties," the article says.
