The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation is developing a unified state textbook on physical education. Sergey Kravtsov, the head of the department, recalled this on May 19.

According to him, physical education, labor, music and other school subjects have the same importance for schoolchildren as mathematics. Kravtsov noted that these disciplines influence the formation of a child's worldview and outlook.

"Therefore, regarding the adjustment of programs <...> now we are preparing a textbook on physical education. As for rationing working hours and protecting teachers, certain steps have already been taken," he said.

On March 21, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reported that the Federal Institute of Native Languages of the Peoples of Russia had begun developing a unified line of textbooks on the native and state languages of the republics. It is specified that, thanks to the unified federal programs, language learning will accompany schoolchildren from 1st to 11th grade, which will allow them to preserve the bond of generations and become more deeply involved in the culture of the peoples of Russia.
