A member of the Batalkhadzhin gang was detained in Ingushetia.

In Ingushetia, law enforcement officers detained one of the members of the group of "followers of the Batal-Hadji Belkhoroev movement" (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). This was reported on May 19 by a source of Izvestia.

It is noted that the operation took place on May 18 in the settlement of Ali-Yurt in the Nazran district of the region. At the same time, 53-year-old Bekhan Albogachiev has been wanted for more than 20 years.

"According to investigators, in 2003, Bekhan Albogachiev and his friend Magomet Mutsolgov attacked a man in Moscow and stole his car, after which they drove the car to the North Caucasus," the source said.

Mutsolgov himself changed his passport and lived under a different name, but in 2017 he was detained and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Last December, members of Belkhoroev's group were detained in Moscow, Ingushetia and Chechnya. It was noted that members of the association abducted Muscovites and illegally appropriated their real estate. A criminal case was also opened under Part 4 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal storage of explosives and explosive devices").
