The Khivus boat with passengers overturned on Lake Baikal in Buryatia

A Khivus boat with 14 passengers capsized on Lake Baikal, 10 of them were rescued, and search and rescue operations are underway. This was reported on May 19 in the prosecutor's office of Buryatia.

"Search and rescue operations are being carried out by units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations at the scene of the accident on Lake Baikal, the Sever-750 airboat, where 14 people were, capsized in the area of Turtle Rock. 10 people were rescued," the agency wrote.
