An-2 aircraft made an emergency landing in the forest of Yakutia due to engine failure

The AN-2 aircraft, while patrolling a fire-prone situation, made an emergency landing in the Tomponsky district of Yakutia due to engine failure. This was reported on May 19 in the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"According to the investigation, today the An-2 aircraft, which was carrying out aviation work to patrol a fire-prone situation, made an emergency landing due to engine failure at a distance of 5-7 km from the village of Teply Klyuch in the Tomponsky district," the agency said in a statement.
