A criminal case has been opened after the emergency landing of the An-2 aircraft in Yakutia.

A criminal case has been opened in Yakutia over the emergency landing of an An-2 aircraft with eight passengers on board. This was announced on May 19 by the Eastern Interregional SU for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"The Yakut Investigative Department for Transport of the Eastern Federal District of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "violation of traffic safety rules and aircraft operation," the report says.
