The Central University and the T-Technologies Group have launched a unique translational research program. This was announced by Vyacheslav Tsyganov, Executive Director of the group, at the CIPR-2026 conference in Nizhny Novgorod.

The goal of the program is to create a mechanism that allows scientists from any city in Russia to turn their laboratory experiments into working prototypes that can be put into practice as pilot projects.

Translational research helps to introduce scientific developments into real production in one or more industries.

Teams of scientists from any Russian university can participate in the program. It does not involve transfer to the Central University, intellectual rights remain with the project participants.

Within the framework of the program, the university's experts are engaged in the selection and financing of teams with advanced scientific competencies. T-Technologies provides experts and infrastructure for piloting projects. Each selected project will receive access to real business technology requirements, expert support, legal support, as well as assistance in preparing for piloting and attracting venture capital investments.

As Vyacheslav Tsyganov, Executive director of T-Technologies, noted, "business should support scientists and help science develop through direct financing, provision of equipment and infrastructure." In this context, the launch of the program at the Central University was "one of the key steps in this direction" for the group, he added.

"We create a safe environment for innovation, so even if the business hypothesis is not confirmed, the work will remain a valuable contribution to the scientific activity of the researcher," said Tsyganov. The goal is to turn the university "into an open platform bringing together scientists from all over the country to share experiences and create technologies that change the world."
