In Sevastopol, 66 houses and 34 cars were damaged as a result of a massive attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on May 18 by Alexey Krasnokutsky, director of the city's Public Security department.
"Damage of varying severity has been revealed in 21 apartment buildings, 45 private households — glazing, facades of houses, roofs have been damaged. <...> 34 personal vehicles were damaged," TASS quoted him as saying.
According to him, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of this incident. Public transport was also among the damaged facilities.
Krasnokutsky added that after the drone debris fell, two fires broke out, which were promptly eliminated. In addition, two power supply facilities were damaged.
Yesterday, the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, announced that the air defense forces had shot down 25 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the city and the Black Sea. According to the Sevastopol Rescue Service, one of the UAVs was shot down in the Kara-Koba area. The high-voltage line was damaged by the wreckage of the drone.
