AvtoVAZ announced the price of minivans and vans SKM M7

AvtoVAZ has announced the start of shipments of SKM M7 light commercial vehicles to the Lada Business dealer network. The recommended retail price of the new product starts from 2.86 million rubles, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on May 18. By the time shipments started, AvtoVAZ had collected more than 100 confirmed orders for the M7.

The SKM M7 is available in two trim levels: "Practical" for the cargo version and "Comfort" for the passenger version. The cargo van is designed to transport large quantities of goods, while the minivan is designed to transport up to seven people, including the driver. Both versions are equipped with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine (137 hp) combined with a five-speed manual transmission. Traction is transmitted to the rear axle, and the rear suspension has an uncut axle on springs.

The SKM M7's equipment list includes air conditioning, front airbags, directional stability control, rear disc brakes, parking sensors and a rear-view camera, a light sensor, electric mirrors, LED running lights, a multimedia system with a digital dashboard and a multi-steering wheel. Heated front seats and heated mirrors are provided. The car is equipped with an ERA-GLONASS module, as well as a telematics platform with three years of maintenance and a voice assistant.

The Comfort passenger version is equipped with a removable third row of seats, which makes it possible to transform the cabin for transporting bulky items. For child safety, there are three Isofix fasteners, an additional Latch lock on the third row and a lock on the rear doors from accidental opening from the passenger compartment. An additional heater accelerates the heating of the air. The cargo version of the Praktik is equipped with stationary rigging loops for securing cargo, the load capacity of the van reaches 715 kg, and the volume of its cargo compartment is 5 cubic meters.

The SKM M7 model is based on SRM brand cars from the Chinese manufacturer Shineray. Large-scale assembly of machines is carried out at a subsidiary of VIS-Avto. Factory preparation for operation in the Russian Federation includes protection of the engine and fuel tank, the presence of footrests that facilitate landing. The body panels are galvanized to increase corrosion resistance, the power unit allows the use of gasoline with an octane rating of Ai-92.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that AvtoVAZ announced the complete completion of the May stage of production modernization. The total amount of financing for the work amounted to 543 million rubles from the company's own funds. The work is aimed at increasing the level of automation of production and labor productivity.
