Construction of the Dzhubga – Sochi highway was postponed for 1-2 years

The construction of the Dzhubga–Sochi expressway has been postponed for one to two years, but its design will continue during this period. This was announced on May 18 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

"As we prepare the draft layout, we have divided it into eight stages, and we will calculate the economic and transport effects of each stage. <...> Therefore, we are not abandoning this project, but simply shifting it slightly to the right for one or two years," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
