Medical workers in Kiev have confirmed the massive spread of hantavirus among soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy region. This was reported on May 18 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The Kiev doctor Irina Semenova stated that hantavirus is widespread among the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy area," RIA Novosti said in a statement.
