A soldier of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign Banzai destroyed 37 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in one day. This was announced on May 17 by a stormtrooper of the 29th Guards Combined Arms Army of the East with the call sign Roentgen.

"We went into the village to storm, he came in the first group. The group was anti-drone, they were standing where the drones fly, in their path. Banzai stood and shot them off. His record was that he shot down 37 enemy kamikaze drones in a day, thanks to which our guys entered without losses. But the drones themselves were flying not only at us, there were settlements behind us where civilians remained. He protected not only us, but also peaceful people," he told TASS.
