In seven hours, the Air defense forces shot down 36 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia

In seven hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 36 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on May 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 14:00 Moscow time to 21:00 Moscow time, 36 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that the drones were neutralized over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Novgorod, Rostov and Smolensk regions, the Moscow region, the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov.
