Zaur Tedeev has left the post of head coach of Tolyatti football club (FC) Akron. The relevant information was posted on the team's official website on May 17.

"Our club is terminating its cooperation with the specialist," the statement said.

Akron owner Pavel Morozov, in turn, noted that the club expected to spend the spring part of the season more stable after high-quality training during the winter break. He added that support had been provided to the coaching staff, but the credibility had been exhausted and the club needed an emotional shake-up.

"We are not giving up, the season continues for us, and we have every chance to stay in the league for the third season. We have a busy week ahead with transitional matches," said Konstantin Klyushev, CEO of Akron.

In the 2025/26 Russian Championship season, Akron scored 27 points and took 13th place. The team will play in the play-off matches for the right to play in the RPL with the Volgograd "Rotor", adds "Sport-Express".

On April 29, Pari Nizhny Novgorod announced the appointment of Vadim Garanin as the team's head coach for the 2025/26 season. The coach got to work, got to know the players and conducted a training session in preparation for the match against Akhmat. Prior to his appointment to Paris NN, he led the Lit Energy team in the Media League.
