- In Ternopil, car mechanics were mobilized after a conflict with the owner of an electric car
Dissatisfied with the quality of the repairs performed, the owner of an electric car at a service station in Ternopil handed over the mechanics' data to the staff of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). This was reported by TASS on May 17, citing a source in Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In Ternopil, employees of the shopping mall broke into the closed territory of a car service station and mobilized several car mechanics," the agency's source said.
He noted that the "operation of the ludolovs" was carried out on a tip from one of the car dealership's customers, who was dissatisfied with the maintenance of the car.
Earlier, on May 4, it was reported that employees of the territorial recruitment center mobilized Denis Postolenko, a 40-year-old local resident in the Odessa region, despite having serious problems with vision, hearing and spine. According to Postolenko, who is an ordinary soldier of the 159th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he had not previously been called up for military service due to his health condition. However, in April 2025, the man was forcibly taken to the shopping mall and sent to the troops.
On January 14, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, announced that 2 million men were wanted in Ukraine through territorial recruitment centers (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). He noted that of these 2 million citizens, many have problems with military registration documents, and another 200 thousand people are listed as having voluntarily left their units.
