The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) are completing an investigation into the wife of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, Elena. This was reported on May 17 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Anti-corruption authorities have plenty of reasons to detain Zelensky's wife. The issue of which criminal case should be the first is currently being resolved," the source told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, this information is already known to the head of the Kiev regime. He claims that Zelensky has strengthened the protection of the family and started negotiations with Western partners.

The agency's interlocutor also said that Ukrainian political strategists recommend Zelensky to publicly file for divorce and promote in the media the thesis about the actual absence of family relations since 2019. According to the source, Zelensky himself considers the situation primarily from the point of view of possible image losses.

Andrei Ermak, the former head of Zelensky's office, who was accused of corruption and detained for 60 days, said on May 14 that his lawyers would appeal the court's decision as soon as they could. He also noted that he does not have the money to make a deposit of 140 million hryvnias ($ 3.1 million). Speaking about this, the former head of the office of the President of Ukraine added that he has enough connections to find the right amount.

Ermak's lawyer Igor Fomin said on May 15 that Ukrainian banks refused to service money transfers for a pledge of 140 million hryvnias (about $ 3.1 million) for the arrested ex-head of the presidential office. He also described what was happening as a "show" and stated that people who are trying to transfer money are being pressured by publishing their personal data.
