A fire train was sent to extinguish the fire in the east of Moscow. This was announced on May 17 by the Moscow Railway (MZhD).

"A fire train has been sent to help extinguish the fire in the area of Amurskaya Street in Moscow. It contains 160 tons of water and 3.5 tons of foaming agent," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that there is no threat to the infrastructure facilities of Russian Railways.

Footage from the scene of the fire shows that one of the spans of the Northeast Chord overpass has sunk.

The fire on Amurskaya Street in the east of Moscow occurred earlier in the day. According to preliminary data, the cause was the ignition of finishing materials. The metropolitan Department of Transport added that due to the fire, traffic along the Northeast Chord is blocked in both directions.
