- In Britain, police officers from the protection of Charles III were suspected of sleeping on duty.
London police have launched an investigation into their staff guarding Windsor Castle, the residence of King Charles III of Great Britain near the capital, due to suspicion of sleeping on duty. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on May 17.
"The main job of the guards is to keep the [castle's] perimeter safe at all times, and it can be boring [to do] for long hours, but it worries if standards drop," the article says.
