Russian drivers can meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the wheel of a nearby car. This was announced on May 17 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Theoretically, yes," he said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin for the Vesti news agency.

Thus, Peskov answered the question of whether an ordinary person can drive and see Putin in the next lane.

On May 11, Putin invited his teacher Vera Gurevich to have dinner at his residence. The head of state personally picked her up at the hotel on Arbat in an Aurus SUV. The President personally presented the former teacher with a bouquet of flowers and congratulated her on Victory Day.
