Russian tennis players Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider won the WTA 1000 doubles tournament in Rome on May 17.
In the final, the Russians beat Spain's Kristina Buksha and American Nicole Melicar-Martinez with a score of 6:3, 6:3. The rivals competed under the second seed. The match lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes, notes "Газета.ги ".
For Andreeva and Schneider, this title became the third joint in doubles and the second in the WTA 1000 tournaments. In 2025, they also won the competition in Miami.
