The Ukrainian Armed Forces sent elite units to Sumy region due to militant losses

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have sent elite units to the Sumy area of the special military operation (SVO), where the greatest losses of personnel of the Ukrainian militants were recorded. This became known on May 17 from Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Due to the colossal losses in the Sumy region, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is forced to transfer separate "elite" units to this sector of the front," RIA Novosti reported.

Thus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed the 95th airborne assault brigade, the 130th separate reconnaissance battalion and the 10th mountain assault brigade from the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

On May 13, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that the use of military uniforms from Iraq was recorded in the Sumy region, which is due to an acute shortage of military uniforms in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The uniforms were purchased from the United States for further transfer to the Ukrainian militants.
