Russian companies have been offered to build container ships at Chinese shipyards

Russian companies may consider the possibility of building container ships at Chinese shipyards with the involvement of financing from the development institutions of China and Russia. This proposal was made on March 17 by Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District) Yuri Trutnev on the sidelines of the sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese Commission for Cooperation and Development of the Russian Far East and the Northeast of China.

"Russian companies have been invited to consider the possibility of building container ships at Chinese shipyards with the involvement of financing from Russian and Chinese financial development institutions," Trutnev's press service said.
