The Air Defense Forces shot down nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) heading for Moscow. This was announced on May 17 by the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.

"An attack by nine UAVs flying to Moscow has been repelled," a message on the Maks messenger said.
