A car driver who ran into a crowd in Modena, injuring at least seven people, has been under control since 2022 due to mental health problems. This was reported on May 16 by the newspaper Fatto Quotidiano.

It is specified that in 2022 he was placed under the supervision of the Mental Health Center for schizoid disorder.

"However, after this period of observation, he disappeared," said the prefect of Modena, Fabrizi Triolo.
