Medvedev lost to the world number one in the semifinals of the tournament in Italy
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev failed to reach the final of the Masters tournament in Rome (Italy) on May 16.
In the semifinal match, the Russian's opponent was the world ranking leader, Italian Yannick Sinner. The match started on Friday, May 15, but due to heavy rain, the organizers interrupted the game and rescheduled it for the next day. The confrontation ended in three sets with the score 2:6, 7:5, 4:6 in favor of the representative of Italy.
