A woman knocked down a girl near Volgograd and abandoned her because of her rush to the vet

Biker spouses Pavel and Olga Perfilova stopped a woman who knocked down a nine-year-old girl in the Volgograd region and tried to escape from the scene because of the rush to see a veterinarian. They shared the details of the story with Izvestia.

The accident occurred on May 8. Then the regional prosecutor's office reported in the Maks messenger that a 64-year-old woman had hit a nine-year-old girl at a pedestrian crossing in the city of Volzhsky. The culprit of the accident fled the scene, but was later arrested.

"We drove between the rows, there really was a child, we already realized that it was a child <...> And they quickly started calling an ambulance," Pavel told the details of the incident.

According to him, the car that hit the girl was not at the scene, but eyewitnesses reported that an Opel car had been involved in the accident and pointed to the direction in which the culprit of the accident had disappeared. The witnesses also clarified that there was a dog in the car.

After that, the couple went to a nearby veterinary clinic, near which they found a car with characteristic damage to the bumper and glass.

"We run to this clinic, we run in, in gear, in helmets. <...> We clarified who the driver is. A woman of respectable age is sitting <...> She tried to leave, took the dog and, as it were, headed for the exit. That's it, they put her in jail, they called her quickly," Pavel shared the details of what happened.

After that, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and detained the woman.
