AT pointed out the need for Europe to establish relations with Russia

The European Union (EU) needs to establish relations with Russia due to economic problems. The American Thinker magazine wrote about this on May 16.

"It is time to rethink the course towards Russia and take into account the pernicious economic reality prevailing within the EU," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, Europe is now trying to build a new arms industry using loans. However, the EU is currently in economic impotence, which is why the goal may not be achieved, the magazine notes. The publication notes that military capital should not be increased by reckless debt buildup.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb said on March 17 that the time is coming for the European Union when it will need to restore direct dialogue with Russia. The politician stressed that cooperation with Moscow should take place on behalf of the entire association, and not through bilateral relations with each of the EU countries. In his opinion, this will allow Brussels to build a more general coordinated position on key issues.
