In five hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 89 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on May 16 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"From 15:00 to 20:00 Moscow time, 89 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the material says.
