More than 70 apartments were damaged when an APU drone attacked a high-rise building in Belgorod.

In Belgorod, as a result of an attack by a drone (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) damaged 70 apartments in a multi-storey building. This was announced on May 16 by the city's operations center in the Telegram channel.

"In Belgorod, nine people were injured as a result of a drone attack on an apartment building. A three—year-old child was hospitalized in the children's regional clinical hospital," the message says.

It is noted that three victims continue to be treated in medical institutions of the city, the rest were released home.

Damage to 70 apartments is also reported. The condition of the building structures will be assessed by experts.

In addition, three apartment buildings, an infrastructure facility, equipment on the territory of a commercial facility and 19 cars were damaged by UAV strikes in Belgorod.

A day earlier, an APU UAV hit an apartment building in Belgorod, injuring nine people. It was noted that a 19-year-old young man was admitted to the regional clinical hospital with a diagnosis of "acubarotrauma and multiple blind shrapnel wounds to the face and legs." Three more victims were taken to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2.
