The American license, which allows oil supplies from Russia, expires on Saturday. This became known on May 16.

Earlier, the US Treasury announced the extension of this license, due to which sanctions were eased for raw materials loaded onto ships before April 17, RIA Novosti said.

The license is valid until 00:01 (07:01 Moscow time) on May 16. Earlier, a similar exception was made for Russian oil in March.
