The Zelenograd Court of Moscow has decided to ban certain actions for two months to Alexander Toropov, who attacked the crew of the REN TV channel. This was reported on May 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The man is the husband of Natalia Biletskaya, an assistant cosmetologist, about whose work the journalists filmed the story. On the same day, she was also banned from certain activities for two months.

A criminal case has been opened into the attack on the REN TV film crew under Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Obstruction of the legitimate professional activities of journalists").

The incident occurred the day before during the filming of a story about Biletskaya's work. Earlier, she had given the client an interbrow injection, after which she became blind in one eye. The correspondent of the Emergency Call program tried to ask the staff of the private medical office about the situation, but Biletskaya refused to comment. Later, in the office, Toropov attacked the journalists, threw their camera on the tile, pushed the correspondent to the floor and jumped on the cameraman, threatening to leave the team without equipment.

On May 15, Biletskaya's colleagues and victims said that the cosmetologist allegedly offered her patients "youth injections" without publishing information about her medical education. One of Biletskaya's colleagues shared that she "cut the labia of a Spanish client" during labioplasty, a specialized operation that is performed in clinics, not in rented apartments.
