A criminal case has been opened in Yakutsk over the death of a four-year-old child as a result of a fall from a balcony window. This is reported by the SU IC of Russia for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The tragedy occurred on the night of May 15 in a high-rise building on Ilmenskaya Street. A four-year-old boy who was left unattended by adults fell out of the window of an apartment on the seventh floor.
According to the Investigative Committee, the child entered the balcony, leaned over the fence and fell out. A passerby found him on the asphalt, and he called an ambulance.
The paramedics who arrived could not save the boy. He died from his injuries in an ambulance, writes IA YakutiaMedia.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing death by negligence." All the circumstances of the child's death are being established.
On April 26, a three-year-old boy fell out of an apartment window on the fifth floor in the Tver region. The child was taken to the hospital, but it was not possible to save him.
