Two people died in an accident on a highway in the Kurgan region

A passenger car overturned on the Chelyabinsk–Kurgan– Omsk–Novosibirsk highway in the Kurgan region. Two people were killed and two others were injured.

The accident occurred on May 14 in the Belozersky district. According to the <url> news agency, the driver of the Nissan Almera chose an unsafe speed, lost control and drove off the road, after which the foreign car overturned.

The passenger, born in 1976, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The passenger, born in 1975, died in hospital. Another passenger and the driver, born in 1977, were hospitalized.

An accident investigation is underway.

Over the past day, 274 road accidents occurred on the roads of Russia, in which 28 people were killed and 310 injured.
