Putin instructed the State Duma of Russia to check the protection of the territory and facilities from flooding

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, May 15, instructed representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office (GP) of the Russian Federation to check in the Russian regions the observance of legislative prohibitions aimed at protecting the area from flooding.

"The President has approved a list of instructions on ensuring engineering and other protection of territories and facilities from the negative effects of water," the documents on the Kremlin's website say.
