The journalist twice interfered with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a speech on May 15 at a press conference in India.

The correspondent interrupted the minister twice by talking on the phone, to which Lavrov immediately responded, pointing out the tactlessness of the media worker and asking him to leave the room. When the requests did not have the desired effect, the Russian Foreign Minister resorted to diplomatic humor.

"Sir, if you don't give me your phone, they'll take out a gun!" said Lavrov in English, after which the audience laughed.
