On May 18, at 14:00, a round table on the topic will be held at the Izvestia press center.: "The influence of extra-regional forces on the political and economic situation in the South Caucasus."

Which political parties have the best chances in the parliamentary elections in Armenia? How can the outcome of the elections affect the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations? What are the prospects for the TRIPP project? What impact do the EU, China and Turkey have on the economy and the political situation in the region?

-Stanislav Tkachenko, Professor, Faculty of International Relations, St. Petersburg State University;

-Sergey Markedonov, Senior Researcher at the MGIMO Institute of International Studies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia;

-Anna Pak, Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations at the RUDN University. Patrice Lumumba;

-Milan Lazovich, Program Manager of the Russian Council on International Affairs (RIAC).

The INF analytical note "Economic Policy of non-regional Actors in the South Caucasus" will be presented during the event.
