The identity of the assailant of the girl in Naro-Fominsk became known.

The attacker turned out to be 22-year-old Sunnat V. Previously, he does not work anywhere and suffers from mental illness, a source told Izvestia.

The attack on a seven-year-old girl in Naro-Fominsk occurred on May 14 during her walk with her sister in the Nikoliny Gardens cottage village.

The man was walking next to the girls, took a knife out of his pocket and scared the children. One of the sisters managed to escape, but the other stayed where she was, after which Sunnat V. (born in 2004) injured the girl and ran away.

The number of unfounded claims from patients and their relatives is also growing.

Irina Volk, an official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, said that a suspect in the wounding of a seven-year-old girl in the Naro-Fominsk city district had been detained. The victim was hospitalized.

The source of Izvestia clarified that the criminal wounded the child with a knife in the face area and fled the crime scene. The girl was hospitalized with a cut wound to her cheeks and temporal region, as well as numerous abrasions. She is in a moderate condition.
