Analysts have named the cheapest destinations for summer seaside vacations
Abkhazia has become the most affordable destination for a seaside holiday in the summer of 2026, where a flight will cost an average of 29.3 thousand rubles. This was reported to Izvestia on May 18 by experts from the OneTwoTrip travel planning service.
According to analysts, a night in a three-star hotel in Abkhazia will cost about 6.2 thousand rubles. In summer, tourists are advised to explore Gagra, Pitsunda and New Athos, where the water warms up well from June to August.
"Azerbaijan ranks second: the average flight price is 36.8 thousand rubles, and a night in a three—star hotel will cost 5.5 thousand rubles," the analysts said.
Turkey closes the top three: a flight there is estimated at 40.7 thousand rubles, and accommodation is about 7 thousand rubles per day. Antalya and Marmaris remain among the most popular destinations.
Georgia, China, Taiwan, Cyprus, India, Malaysia and Thailand are also on the list of available destinations. The cheapest accommodation among these countries turned out to be in Thailand — about 3 thousand rubles per night, but a flight there costs an average of 62.2 thousand rubles.
In Cyprus, on the contrary, the highest cost of accommodation from the presented list is recorded — about 11 thousand rubles per day. At the same time, the flight will cost an average of 52.8 thousand rubles.
Elena Kosheleva, Director of Sberbank Insurance projects, said on May 13 that with the onset of the warm season, Russians are more likely to travel around the country and abroad, but even a carefully planned vacation can be complicated by flight delays, baggage loss, or health problems. According to her, in preparation for the trip, first of all, it is necessary to think over the program in advance.
