Yermak, the ex-head of Zelensky's office, was placed in a paid jail cell
The former head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Ermak, is in jail in a paid cell. This was announced on May 15 by lawyer Igor Fomin.
"I know that we paid him for a camera there," the Ukrainian Public television channel quoted Fomin as saying.
Yermak was charged with corruption on May 12. Shortly after, a court in Ukraine decided to take into custody the former head of Zelensky's office for 60 days with the possibility of posting bail of 140 million hryvnias (about $ 3.1 million).
