The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to attack a school in Vasilyevka, Zaporizhia region, with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), but it did not detonate, crashing into a building window. This was announced on May 14 by the Governor of the Zaporizhia region Evgeny Balitsky.

"The enemy has made another attempt to attack a school in the town of Vasilyevka. We are dealing with terrorists for whom there are no rules and prohibitions," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Balitsky attached a photo of the drone to the message, which clearly shows how the UAV aimed at the school, but did not explode, stuck on the window ledge. The governor clarified that operational services are already working at the scene.

The day before, it was reported that a civilian was killed as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Sevsky district of the Bryansk region. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also attacked the village of Staraya Poshch in the Suzemsky district with the help of a kamikaze drone. As a result of the strike, a civilian who came from the Stavropol Territory was killed.
