A criminal case has been opened in Moscow over the attack on the crew of the "Emergency Call" program of the REN TV channel. This was reported on May 14 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in the capital at Maks.

It is noted that a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Obstruction of the legitimate professional activities of journalists") against a man.

An unknown man struck the cameraman and the journalist. He also damaged the equipment. In addition, the cosmetologist, after whose intervention the woman became blind in one eye, refused to talk when the film crew came to her.

After several attempts by journalists to talk, the cosmetologist blocked the way to one of the offices, after which the man took the phone away from the journalists.
