The Evolve brand has introduced a new electric crossover i-Sky in Russia

Evolute, a company that manufactures electric cars and hybrids in the Lipetsk Region, has introduced a new C-segment electric crossover, the i-Sky, in Russia. In the brand's lineup, it will take its place between the compact urban crossover i-Joy and the flagship hybrid i-Space, the brand's press service said in a statement received by Izvestia on May 14. Prices have not been specified yet.

The Evolve i-Sky is powered by a 218 hp (310 Nm) engine that accelerates the crossover from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. A liquid-cooled lithium-iron-phosphate traction battery with a capacity of 62 kWh allows you to travel up to 424 km without recharging. The fast charging time from 30 to 80% is 28 minutes.

The company noted that the i-Sky is one of the largest crossovers in its segment. The length is 4685 mm, the width is 1900 mm, the height is 1613 mm, and the wheelbase is 2775 mm. The crossover received fully LED optics and 19-inch alloy wheels, concealed door handles with electric drive and keyless entry function, vertical brake lights and a rear spoiler.

The list of equipment includes a 14.6-inch media system screen and a 10.25-inch dashboard, a panoramic glass roof, an all-round viewing system, an electric tailgate, and wireless charging for a smartphone. The interior is finished in textured eco-leather. The driver's seat is electrically adjustable in six directions, and the steering column is adjustable in height and reach. The heated rear-view mirrors fold up automatically.

Six airbags and a basic set of assistants are provided. The model is also equipped with heated front seats, steering wheel and windshield washer nozzles. The body elements of the crossover have undergone anti-corrosion treatment and additional cathodic galvanizing.
