Six laboratories in the field of DeepTech have been opened at the Central University

The Central University has launched six scientific laboratories in the field of deep technologies (DeepTech). According to the university, the purpose of creating laboratories is to bridge the gap between basic science and real production in the fields of medicine, AI, energy and high technologies.

The laboratories will operate in key areas of modern DeepTech research. These areas include intelligent sensor systems, computational biomedicine and molecular diagnostics, digital bioenergetics of microorganisms, dynamic safe AI systems, and targeted therapy. As a result, it is expected to obtain applied solutions ranging from mathematical algorithms to new methods of medical diagnostics. The university's new laboratories were headed by world-class scientists.

Karina Gurgenova, head of the Research Support Center at the Central University, noted that the new laboratories "have already made significant discoveries at the launch stage and will continue their research and work in key industries for the country." Among the results obtained is a method created in the laboratories of the Central University to double the accuracy of eye trackers in difficult conditions. The development received an award for the best scientific paper at the Best Paper Award conference. Gurgenova noted that it is very important for the university that the developments of Russian scientists be in demand, find practical application and benefit society. "It is especially valuable that our students can work shoulder to shoulder with renowned researchers, learn from their knowledge and experience. We strive to train a new generation of leaders capable of turning complex scientific concepts into applied products for the economy of the future," she added.
