The Moscow Prosecutor's Office demands to open a criminal case against comedian Alexander Dolgopolov, who in one of his speeches publicly insulted the memory, as well as humiliated the honor and dignity of veterans of the Great Patriotic War (WWII). This was announced on May 14 by the press service of the department.

"The materials of the prosecutor's check against 31-year—old Alexander Dolgopolov have been sent to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution under Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Rehabilitation of Nazism")," the agency's page in the Maks messenger says.
