Two residents of Crimea were detained for providing Kiev with information about the military on the peninsula.

Russian FSB officers have detained two Crimean residents on suspicion of treason, who provided the Ukrainian special services with information about military personnel on the peninsula. This was announced on May 14 by the FSB's Public Relations Center.

"The FSB of the Russian Federation has suppressed the illegal activities of two Russian citizens involved in committing high treason on the territory of the Republic of Crimea," the Center said.
