Vyacheslav Gladkov, the former governor of the Belgorod Region, and his colleague Alexander Bogomaz, the former head of the Bryansk Region, will definitely be offered new jobs. This was announced on May 14 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"It will definitely be offered," he told Interfax.

Gladkov and Bogomaz resigned on May 13. The relevant petitions were accepted by Russian President Vladimir Putin and entered into force on the same day.

Alexander Shuvaev, a Hero of Russia, a veteran of a special military operation and a participant in the presidential program "Time of Heroes", was appointed acting governor of the Belgorod Region. Acting governor of the Bryansk region became the head of the government of the LPR Egor Kovalchuk.

Representatives of the election commissions of the Belgorod and Bryansk regions announced on May 13 that the election of new governors would be held on a single voting day on September 20. At the same time, Kovalchuk called his appointment to the post of acting governor of the Bryansk region an honor and stated that in this post he intends to build relations with local residents of the region.

The ex-governor of the Belgorod region the next day expressed gratitude to the residents of his region, colleagues and Putin. He wished all Russians victory, as well as God's blessing and a feeling of happiness, prosperity and love in their hearts.
