- An exhibition about the activities of composers during the period of their independence opened at the Museum of Music
An exhibition dedicated to the work of composers during the period of the special military operation (SVO) has opened in Moscow at the Museum of Music.
Visitors will be able to learn the stories of the artists who performed in the frontline zone. Special attention is also paid to the activities of the Union of Eurasian Composers. From the very first days of the SVO, the professional association began to create mobile creative teams for performances in front of Russian military personnel.
"People joined this exhibition, this material. Thus, they participate in the approach of Victory and in our battles together with those who compose music in the trenches... All this is done sincerely, from the bottom of my heart. And you understand that this is not a technical weapon, but a creative one," said Andrei Baturin, composer and president of the Union of Eurasian Composers.
During the exhibition, special attention was paid to Belgorod. Visitors will be able to see, among other things, a fragment of a shell used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to strike civilians in the city in December 2024.
In total, more than a hundred objects are on display at the museum. Among them are chevrons and medals of military personnel, photographs, music archives and captured equipment.
On May 5, the annual patriotic action "Fire of Memory" took place in the Alexander Garden near the walls of the Moscow Kremlin. At the Grave of the Unknown Soldier, representatives of the movement, Russian celebrities and public figures, as well as war correspondents transferred particles of Eternal Flame into special lamps. They will be handed over to veterans of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) in the regions and soldiers of the SVO on the front line, as well as to 14 foreign countries.
