In the Kursk region, a civilian was injured as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on May 13 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.

The incident occurred on the Rylsk—Lgov highway, where, according to preliminary data, a moving car was attacked.

"As a result of the strike, a 59-year—old civilian was injured," the head of the region wrote on the MAX messenger.

He suffered multiple shrapnel wounds to his head, chest, pelvis, arms and legs. The victim was taken to a medical facility, where he received the necessary assistance. The wounded man's condition is being clarified.

The head of the region called on residents to be more vigilant and careful in the border areas.

The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that two people were injured in the village of Antonovka in the Bryansk region as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was clarified that the victims were hospitalized, they received the necessary medical care. According to the head of the region, eight residential buildings and a civilian car were damaged.
